Here is a rare glimpse of the innovative man at the HELM as President of MCA Nashville, in the exact moment he was shaping the FUTURE of country music, by EXPERTLY infusing elements of pop, bluegrass, and alternative rock into a genre (country) which had hitherto steadfastly resisted them. Suddenly, the same guy producing country's biggest stars in their PRIME (Vince Gill, George Strait, Reba, Wynonna) gave EQUAL attention to Steve Earle, Keb Mo', Todd Snider, Shawn Colvin, and more!
